In summary, this is a Cultural Center-wide “Open House” featuring free admission to Detroit's amazing cultural gems such as the DIA, Main Public Library, Children's Museum, Charles Wright Museum, etc.
There are sooooo many different things to do like horse-drawn carriage rides, caroling, music, dance, children’s activities, sidewalk food vendors, hopping, and an annual end of the evening community sing-along led by the Salvation Army on the Woodward Avenue band stand. Oh, and the Salvation Army provides free hot chocolate to all who attend - plenty of food vendors on site as well.
If you really want to understand who and what the 'D is - the incredible energy and good will that exists in the 'D town - then Noel Night is for you. Oh and before we forget - it's free - all of this is free! Get down early - parking is hectic because there are a lot of people who attend this event! Do not illegally park and make sure you feed the meter because you might get a ticket if you don't. Smart people park in a paid lot or a Wayne State garage for convenience!
Here is the official Facebook site for the event from the event organizers for any additional information and the latest updates!: https://www.facebook.com/events/1608916832707476/
Happy Holidays, from the 'D!
