Cacao Ceremony & Dynamic Meditation at Nonsense Night ~ 11/17

Join holistic facilitator Nick Meador for a cacao ceremony at Nonsense Night: Standing Rock "quest-funder" ;) on 11/17, both of which will benefit the Standing Rock #NoDAPL movement. <3 In this sacred circle we will drink the indigenous plant medicine cacao, grown organically in northern Guatemala at a family farm. Pure cacao opens the heart, deepens meditative experiences, and fosters inner/outer connection. We’ll have an opening circle to support each other with intention for the ceremony. Then Nick will lead the OSHO Dynamic Meditation. This is a standing meditation involving nasal breathwork, vocal and physical catharsis, hopping and chanting, total stillness, and free movement. It's OSHO's most intense meditation experience – a chance for you to release whatever's holding you back and get in touch with the warrior spirit within. After this holistic experience for mind, body, and spirit, we’ll come back together for an integration circle 6-8pm Thursday, November 17 Tangent Gallery / Hastings Street Ballroom 715 Milwaukee Ave Detroit, MI 48202 Entry to Nonsense Night is separate. All profits from the cacao ceremony and Nonsense Night will go towards supporting the Standing Rock indigenous people in the #NoDAPL movement. $10 includes 1/2 ceremonial serving of cacao as drink or treat. $15 includes full serving. Please bring a yoga mat or blanket, and water bottle. If you feel called to attend but funds are a problem, please speak with Nick beforehand. Volunteer opportunities exist. Nick Meador is a holistic facilitator, transformational coach, Reiki practitioner, and event planner. His mission is to empower and liberate people in a sustainable way. Nick is the founder of Inner Waymark, LLC, creating events, services, and media content based around the idea that we can find meaning, purpose, and direction within. Find out more at innerwaymark.com. *Cacao consumption is optional at this event. The energy will be high either way. It is not advised for people taking pharmaceutical anti-depressants or people with a heart condition to have a full serving of raw cacao.
