Detroit's Motor City Pride is a weekend event with the Festival beginning on Saturday afternoon and continuing on Sunday. There are usually several food vendors there keeping everyone fed and happy, while the main stage is alive with performers and drag queens, keeping the large crowd excited. The Parade, held on Saturday, usually takes over Griswold Street and Jefferson Avenue, ending in Heart Plaza. This is the largest Pride in Michigan, with nearly 50,000 people participating and attending.
