      Not the University District!
Google map the address, and it says "Warrendale" because Adam's Apple is fact in Warrendale, right down the street from GiGi's and pretty much around the corner from the Hayloft Saloon. They're the three points of Detroit's gay triangle, be careful you don't get lost...

      Love the friendliness
Very friendly neighborhood bar with small patio but just right. The owner is very personable and the bartender funny. Prices are average, so I do not complain. The people that was there were nice, polite and friendly. Happy hour is a must.

      cozy but friendly
Unassuming, small neighborhood bar. TVs, video screens, decent sized patio. Nothing special about this place, but the atmosphere is laid back and welcoming. And the bartender was an A+ the night I was there.

      Fun and Friendly
Its definitely the people that make this place what it is. Fun and friendly crowd. I have luckily never been there for karaoke. Great place on Sunday night...always full. Don't worry about it being smokey after May 1st, 2010. Full smoking ban goes into effect here in Michigan on that date.

      Smokey Neighborhood Hang
A group of friends from work and I went late one Friday night and had a nice time. I'm not sure if they have karaoke every night, but when we went it was in full swing... Not the best singers, and since there was no elevated stage area you couldn't see them from anywhere but on top of them. The drinks were cheap, and the crowd, while not the hotties you'd see at a hip lounge or dance club, was fun to be around. Beware the heavy layer of smoke that pervades the place and will follow you home on your clothes.

      Great "Neighborhood" Bar
This is a great place! I feel like Norm from Cheers when I walk in. The bartenders are excellent, the crowd is a nice mix of young and mature. And it's very close to 3 other gay bars in the area.

      Sunday Nights
While it is almost ALL men.. they do allow me in sometimes ;-) I love Sundays. The two Mike's are the very best bartenders ever.
