Gay Detroit

The birthplace of the automobile and the Motown sound has one of the most diverse gay communities in the US. Detroit's population is mostly african-american but you'll find all types at the city's various gay bars and clubs. There isn't a gay neighborhood in Detroit, but bars are clustered on the cities north and west sides. And hey, if you find Mr. or Mrs. Right, you are just 5 minutes by bridge or tunnel from Windsor, Ontario where you can legally tie the knot.
